BASS CENTER X RETURNS TO THE MOTHERSHIP

Alex Dixon

Wed March 22, 2017 12:48 pm

HAMPTON, Va. - For the tenth event in this very special series, Bass Center X comes to the Mothership, Hampton Coliseum, for three nights of magical pandemonium, Sept. 1-3.

Bassnectar will be playing each night alongside a diverse cast of musical guests including Cashmere Cat, Dan Deacon, Mr. Carmack, CloZee, Tsuruda, Bleep Bloop, Shlump, Son of Kick, and CharlesTheFirst.

Three days means UNLIMITED possibilities.  Included will be the special-event-mainstay features like The Haven with ambient DJs, yoga & massage therapists, free juice & water, and an interactive gift altar, to create a sanctuary and chill space. Plus there will be a massive Ambassador squad to welcome guests, make sure they have all they need to have a safe and healthy experience: connecting bass heads from all over the country with tons of games, art projects, and ways to make new friends.

Also unveiled will be “The Lot” in Hampton! This is an enhanced gathering space outside the venue with renegade sound systems, pop-up arts & crafts faire, and guest performances. Guests are invited to bring arts, crafts, freak flags, tailgating vibes, and participate fully. Additional information will be released soon.  For those who wish to participate, perform, or bring an art installation of some kind, visit https://twitter.com/bass_network to register. The event will coordinate rideshares, “bass head hotels,” and help plan the best possible weekend.

The 10th edition of Bass Center X will transform Hampton Coliseum into a Magical World. There will be expanded spaces to roam, opening up the entire venue to every human, with immersive production and the thickest, most all-engulfing sound imaginable.

Due to the limited capacity of Hampton Coliseum a different approach for Bass Center X will be used for ticketing to reduce stress and eliminate scalping.

reup_1 You’re right, anything involving the pecs is more difficult with AC joint problems. I still ha;e8&#n217vt gotten my bench press weight back to the pre-injury status (this is 3 years later), but I’m close. There’s no pain at this point, just a general feeling of instability along that movement axis. My working hypothesis is that the scapula has more freedom to move around.the best you can do is to take it easy and back off on the weights until the pain is gone. Oh, and sit up straight when you’re studying
